power tools were involved

Well, summer came in like a wrecking ball this week. But then next week, did you see? Like two days a high of low 70s. Dude, someone needs to give Mother Nature a well check. She is all over.

Let’s see, Saturday we did a charity 5k. Jeremy ran i walked with Ez….well he struggled.

Remember, he is a big boy. about 115lb. thick double coat fur that is black. We got to about mile 2.5 and he legit just stopped and flopped down. not graceful, not gentle, just found a shady spot and was DONE. i got him to almost finish. I had jeremy meet us at almost the finish line to swap me with some water because ez was done. He slept most of the rest of the day..But Sunday he was ready to go lol.

So his summer 5k days may be over. I truly didn’t think he’d struggle because he did a 5k last year with us and we ran part of it and he was groovy. Maybe because he was a year younger, maybe not as hot..who knows. But when just flopped over i thought, “welp i killed my dog” lol.

We also got the shelves finished for the bathroom closet. I ran the circular saw too. I will say i cut 3.5 of the 4 shelves. 1 shelf i had to have jeremy fix because i got distracted and went crooked. But dude, it was hot hot hot in the barn. So i improvised with a screwdriver to put my hair up lol.

But the shelves in the closet are done. Stuff is on them and i was honestly impressed. Because we went from 1 single sink vanity, 1 double sink vanity, a medicine cabinet AND a linen closet. To, a double sink vanity and 4 shelves. I thought there is zero way I could make this work. But lo and behold i did!

Friday im heading to Charm on the Farm VIP night. Momma needs a night out. Im excited. Fingers crossed no rain.
