Well, i’m Amber. But you know that.

I’m 44 (well in july i will be), a wife to my high school sweetheart. We have been together since our junior year of high school.  I’m mother to two (16 K and 19 T). As a family we have always been a hustler.  My hubby is a LEO and always has a side gig.  He says it balances his hard regular job out. We love to travel, but we love to just chill at home too.

Why did i join this gig?

Well honestly, i have no idea why.  I have no amazing story of needing money or wanting it to pay for something. Or even wanting a discount on products.  It was a whim.

So a friend tagged me in a police warmer. So i thought, ok, i can grab that and we can use it for decoration.  I didn’t even know what scentsy was.  Like truly.  So i contacted the consultant who posted the warmer.

She was very kind.  She sent me several partial bars to use and to see what i liked, and a catalog. Still having zero clue what this company was i ordered just a few things. A mini warmer, a table top base and 3 bars.

Scentsy did a join special, $50. I was looking at the catalog, if i needed more wax for this warmer thing i could just order from myself those first few months.  That was my thought process. So i blacked out, joined, and thought i was going to throw up.  Truth lol. What did i just do?  Everyone and their grandma sells something.  I’m not outgoing. There is no way i’m going to do those lives on FB.  I’m never going to talk to people in person about it.  I don’t want to be annoying.  What did i just do?

I justified my purchase because the kit was worth more than what i paid. So it was ok.  And i’ll have all the scents to smell to help me pick my next purchase.  Ok, ok, i didn’t waste any money.

I told ONE friend i joined.  And asked her if she had ever heard of it.  She said she loved Scentsy, she used it, and wanted to host a facebook party. What the heck does that even mean.  So i winged it. Not really knowing much about the products i set her up a party, posts all these things and truly just bluffed my way through it.  From there i created a vip group and have just been trucking ever since.

Im stubborn and im scared to say i failed. So i just keep trucking everyday.

I’ve earned many incentives, many trips including the Top 150 in the company one year.

I’m a leader of Team Enlivened Royalty. That has about 100 teamies (give or take, the number always fluctuates) from all kinds of backgrounds. And who work their business differently, part time, full time, as a discount, and more.

I’m pretty sure i’ve had this job longer than any other job.  I truly love what i do.  Not just because it smells good, lol.  But hearing from my customers how they love this scent or they create this amazing new blend.  Or how much better their car smells and more. Scent effects moods, i get to help with that.  And helping my team.  Seeing them go from, i don’t think i can do this (just like me), to holy crap look what i just did.  That is such an amazing feeling.  I love watching and helping their confidence.  It is an amazing part of this gig.
