🗓️ Plan Ahead Like a Pro: June Content Ideas for Online Entrepreneurs
June is the start of summer. The running, the vacations, the cookouts, the outside. Most people are off social more in the summer. So being a little more intentional is important. Along with adding in an email or text every month i think is important.
But if you look at your calendar, plan ahead, and schedule your content, your business will keep running… while you’re busy running around life.
Let’s break it down
🌸June Highlights
Vacations ~ Summer ~ Outside
These are the big themes this month. Here’s how they can work for your business 👇
🍳 Food People
Share those cold recipes. Those easy low effort but filling recipes. What about that must bring to the cookout recipes?
💍 Jewelry People
Do you offer sweat-proof, water-resistant jewelry? Now is the time to share it. Anklets too. We are wearing shorts, you don’t think about anklets and toe rings in the winter. But we are now.
🧺 Cleaning & Organizing People
Do you have any tips on cleaning pool toys? beach toys? keeping swimsuits from smelling funky and beach towels? What about a great pool/beach bag? Any tips on organizing the trunk for easy summer outings.
🕯️ Scent People
Do you offer anything other than just wax or oils/home scents? If so can you help scent your car? What about taking scent on vacation with you? Dorm room things? Help us bring good smells from home out in the wild with us.
💄 Makeup & Skincare People
SPF, is that real? I truly just went to the store and there was spf from 5-100 why? i don’t understand it. Help me/us understand all the differences.
Sometimes content really is as simple as asking yourself:
What’s happening in my life this month?
Do you have vacation?
What about family gatherings, picnic, park days?
Do you have a favorite cookout recipe?
Your life is content.
Don’t overthink it — sharing your life is content
🗓️ A Few Fun Days to Try:
- June 1 – Go Barefoot day Skincare-helps us get those tootsies ready. Do you have toe nail polish Make up people?
- June 5 – National Gingerbread day AND Donut day I mean, do i need to say more lol. Favorite donut, do you have a recipe, what about a scent?
- June 7 – VCR Day Ok hang on, think old school scents, tips, tricks. Can you revist them? Can you make them better? Can you debunk them? Or are they still the tried and true way to clean, wash your face, and jewelry rules? This could be fun.
- June 15 – Smile Power Day. Ok i had to look it up. But it is about the power of a smile. How sometimes just smiling at someone can change their day. Use that and smile at your customers. Thank them. I challenge you to TEXT/EMAIL everyone in your customer list and just tell them thank you for sticking with you, supporting you, etc. Nothing else. Just use the power of the smile..
- June 18 – International Picnic day Help them organize a great picnic basket, or a great easy to take on a picnic recipe. Got the perfect picnic outfit? Can’t go on a picnic, what about the perfect outdoorsy scent to have a picnic inside
- June 21 – Father’s Day Take a minute to thank the dads, the moms playing dad, the grandpas, the uncles, just everyone. Wish everyone no matter what’s in their pants a happy father’s day
- June 30 – Social Media Day This is your opportunity, share all your socials. Have people follow you on everything. You never know who might not be following you in other places.
Almost any day — no matter the “theme” — can be adapted to your business. Build a content bank, move things around, and use these as fillers when needed.
Every day has something worth posting about. So sit down today (May 20), plan out five June posts, and schedule them. Then add two more later.
Your future self will 100% thank you.
And one more challenge, it is up there. Are you up for it? Schedule it now if you can schedule your emails and texts. If you are a business owner and you CAN”T schedule your emails and texts, reach out. I have a way to do both.
xoxo,
