Goodbye Boxes
I love our warmers. And the boxes sometimes are just as pretty. But lordy, do they take up room. So here are a few tips to make changing out those warmers and storing them a smidge easier.
First, ditch the boxes, the Styrofoam and the cardboard. Recycle what you can and ditch the rest.
Now there are several ways you can do this. Some will say to wrap your warmer up tight in bubble wrap or packing paper. Just make sure you tape your dish down and your cord up. Wrap the cord in the paper/bubble warp, the same with the dish. THEN warp the rest of the warmer. It doesn’t need to have a million warps on it. Just a few. Then tape it up. Maybe throw a piece of masking tape on it and write what warmer it is.
You have it wrapped up, now what? Well, first mini warmers. Don’t keep switching the bases. If you are going from ceramic holiday mini to ceramic spring mini, just switch the shades (the top part). Use the same base. Keep your extra bases in a box where you keep your cotton clean ups and your bars. The shades of mini warmers will fit in a 6″ tall box. Tabletop warmers, that all depends on the size. But with them wrapped up, lay them on their side, upside down. It isn’t like this box is going to bounce around in the trunk of your car. It is going in storage until next halloween.
Getting rid of the boxes, and wrapping the warmers, is a freeing feeling. And will take up less space. Imagine having 5 warmer boxes to bring down for easter vs 1 storage tote with all 5 warmers in it?
I have a few tote ideas on my Amazon list. Feel free to check it out and see if it will work for your needs.
