I got fired..i think

Welp the weather cleared up, but now we are in the everything is wet phase. The ground isn’t muddy really yet, but there are puddles EVERYWHERE.

But, i think i got fired this week.

Jeremy is closing up the tree business. but he has some jobs he still needs to finish. So he asked me to help him with one. First off, gross. Second at least it was in the 40s.

So here is the low down. First off i was cold. i can’t help it. Lots of tree work is me standing around waiting for him to do something or get done doing something so i can do my job. I can’t go get brush under the tree while he is still cutting, hello concussion. So im just standing around, cold.

Then once i can do my job, well, like i said it is 40s. so the snow is super duper slushy. And you know how it goes, the more you step on slushy snow it gets slick. So that was frustrating me. Then things are uneven, the ground the snow, everything. I already have bad feet and ankles, but then you toss in uneven slick ground and i was slipping, sliding and twisting.

Then im sticking brush in the chipper and get smacked in the face. Apparently i load things wrong, but we aren’t discussing this lol. After the smack, i needed a minute. i took off tot he truck, cried a little, gathered myself and went back to help.

Oh it didn’t stop there. Jeremy hands me his water and says “i didn’t have the lid on right and i lost some water can you refill it?” I opened the water bottle and it was like 2 inches of water gone. I asked him if he brough the water jug we bring to refill, and he didn’t. So i said, i’ll use mine and he goes “just go in the house”. Now, here is the deal, we know the homeowner, we are friends. so to go in the house and use their water would of been no biggie. But i did not want to go in and refill this 2 dang inches of water lol. I snapped “i’ve got it!!!” i yelled at him lol.

I filled up his water, handed it to him. He was so sweet and said “go inside, visit and stay warm. I don’t need you right now. I’ll get you when i need help” i double checked he was sure. Well fast forward and he NEVER CAME AND GOT ME. When the job was done and he come in the house, i’m like dude what happened? His response… “sometimes it is easier to do things by myself” BAHAHAHA.

I threw a hissy fit and i know i did. I got frustrated, i snapped. But it happens. Job got done, i visited with a friend and honestly, we were still done early, even with my hissy fit lol. So no harm no foul.
