Welcome to the busy week!
So first off, i was bummed. I went to set up at the vendor event. As im pulling up to unload i see another scentsy consultant bag. At first im like, ok maybe they are using them just for carrying stuff. Nope, they are a scentsy consultant setting up. This was a smaller event, like 30 people. And she had us set directly across from each other with one person in between us. Sure, we both could of set up and both been successful. But it was just not something i wanted to deal with. I was really bummed and hurt. I was more frustrated with the organizer and how she handled it. I wasn’t informed and when i told her why i wasn’t setting up, she said “i thought you were fine with it” i was never told, to even be fine with it.
But moving on and still trucking. It was a long weekend. Jeremy was not involved in the Lindner shooting, but we are the district, so it affects us in away. We dispatch for those troopers, so one of our dispatchers was on the call. We have to provide coverage for the troopers involved, so short-handed at 2 posts is the name of the game.
With the rain on tuesday, jeremy and i decided we were having a lazy day. We ran some errands, went out for lunch, then truly laid on the couch by the fire and watched tv and movies the rest of the day. I think we both needed. Between my event, his work, his stress of having tree jobs to get done but the weather not working….it felt good to just be bums.
I have a wedding this weekend and kaci says she is doing Friendsgiving on tuesday. Which is fine, but she wants to do it in the barn. Welp, the barn is NOT cleaned, im not cleaning. And i have not gotten a shopping list either, sooooo ummm, stay tuned.
