Hello 2026
We did it. We made it through the holidays. Did you have a great holiday week.?
We did gifts on the 23rd, then Jeremy, Kaci and I left at 230am on the 25th to the airport. Everything was smooth sailing honestly. I did meet Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby in the Punta Cana airport. Total fan girl moment.
The resort was stunning and honestly really boring. But that was perfect. The weather was 80s, but perfect. like you could sit outside all day on the beach (which we did) and not be hot. The sand was legit flour soft and cold. The days truly went, wake up, read on the balcony, eat breakfast, walk the beach, read on the beach, eat lunch, nap/read, swim, eat dinner, walk the beach, read, go to bed. That was it for a week. And dude, it was needed. I truly checked out. I barely did any work, turned off my alarms, and only worried about myself.
you know how momming is, you worry about how everyone else is doing. are they having fun, is everything ok, is everyone ok…i checked in like twice a day with both of them, but otherwise, i only worried about me and what i wanted to do.
We got back very very early on the 31st to SNOW! we traded white sand for white snow.
We rang in the new year at home, in our jammies by the fire. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m very hopeful for 2026. And im determined to be calmer, slower, chiller, more me focused this year.
