Yard Sale
Well it was a low key week.
Jeremy spoiled me on mother’s day. He did all the cooking and cleaning. We had a super duper yummy dinner over the fire. We watched movies, we ran errands. Honestly it was exactly what i wanted.
We also took several walks this week. I love taking walks in the evening. We talk, we chill, it is nice exercise.
I had a dr appointment monday. Ok so real talk. Life has been hard since sept. Kids are making choices i don’t 100% agree with and i have control issues. So letting go has been HARD. And as soon as i feel settled, these kids come in with ANOTHER choice.
The depression has been hard. Well mid april my body started to hurt. My joints just hurt. Turning over in my sleep was hard. So i finally went to the dr this week.
So usually my blood work comes back pristine, everything in the green, textbook perfect. Well…not this time. I had so many abnormal things on it. As of today im still waiting on her to tell me what is going on. But hopefully nothing too bad
What i can say, DO NOT GOOGLE YOUR RESULTS. Lord, I have every illness, cancer and then some under the sun according to google.
But what i am trying at least, “i do not have to like my kids choices, but i can still love them”, along with focusing on me and jeremy and myself. Because at the end of the day, it will just be me and jeremy. These kids will, someday, go away and it is just me and him. Plus we deserve it. We did everything we could, we tried hard, we raise two great kids….what they do now is on them.
And if i think about it, i really doubt i made all the right choices in my parents eyes. Granted they sucked, but still. if we think about it, we all did our own thing despite what our parents wanted. So i have to just be there for them to pick up the pieces if they need it.
But boy is it hard.
Oh and we have graduation on sunday.
