What are Scentsy Washer Whiffs?
Washer Whiffs are laundry fragrance-boosting crystals. Their whole job is scent.
You add them directly to your washer drum before your clothes, then use your regular detergent to actually clean the laundry.
Are Scentsy Washer Whiffs detergent?
Nope. This is probably the biggest thing to know.
Detergent cleans. Washer Whiffs add fragrance.
If you need the cleaning part, use your regular detergent, Scentsy Laundry Liquid or Scentsy Suds.
Where do I put Washer Whiffs?
Directly into the washer drum. Not in the detergent dispenser. Not in the fabric softener dispenser. And definitely not in the dryer. 😂
Add the Washer Whiffs to the drum, add your clothes and wash like normal.
How many scoops of Washer Whiffs should I use?
Start with one scoop.
For an extra-large load or if you want more fragrance, you can use more. This is one of those products where you can adjust it depending on how much scent you like.
Basically: normal scent person? Start with one. “I want to smell my laundry from the hallway” person? You may be adding another scoop. 😂
Can I use Washer Whiffs in a front-loading washer?
Yes. Just remember the same rule: Washer Whiffs go directly into the drum, not into one of the dispenser compartments.
Can I use Washer Whiffs with regular detergent?
Yep. You still need detergent because Washer Whiffs aren’t cleaning anything.
Think of your detergent as the responsible one doing the work. Washer Whiffs showed up to make everything smell good. 😂
Can I use Washer Whiffs with Scentsy Suds?
Yep.
Scentsy Suds are detergent sheets, so they’re doing the cleaning. Washer Whiffs are doing the scent boosting. Two different jobs.
Can I put Washer Whiffs in the dryer?
Nope. Washer Whiffs belong in the washing machine.
If you want to add more fragrance in the dryer, that’s where Dryer Disks come in.
How long does the Washer Whiffs scent last?
Scentsy says Washer Whiffs can add fragrance that lasts for weeks.
How noticeable it is later can depend on the scent, how much you use, the fabric and how the item is stored. But long-lasting fragrance is exactly what they’re made for.
What should I use Washer Whiffs on?
Anything machine washable where you want extra fragrance, but my favorites are bedding, towels and blankets.
Those are the things I want to pull out later and STILL smell good.
Can I layer Washer Whiffs with other Scentsy Laundry products?
Absolutely. That’s where the Laundry Line gets fun.
You can use your detergent + Washer Whiffs in the washer, then add Dryer Sheets or Dryer Disks in the dryer.
You can use matching scents or mix them. There are no laundry police coming to your house. 😂
Are Washer Whiffs worth it?
If fragrance is what you care about most in your laundry, I think this is one of the first products to try.
Actually, if you’re going to try anything from the Scentsy Laundry Line, my two picks are Washer Whiffs and Scentsy Fresh.
My youngest would ONLY wash their clothes with Scentsy Laundry when they lived at home. And teenagers are tough. So if it passed the picky teenager test around here…I feel pretty good about it. 😂
